Outeniqua Mountain Tour Option Two - For the more hardcore riders!!

Day one
We transfer you to Outeniqua Trout farm. After unpacking we head straight up for 19km to the top of the famous Price Alfreds Pass and then crank it back down to the lodge for a few cold beers and swim.
40kms.
Day two.
Today we cycle within some of THE MOST PRISTINE Fynbos ( Cape Floral Kingdom) on some serious 4x4 trails in the mountains. Lots of climbing and a mind blowing descent over some serious rocks on this loop!! This a tough ride but very, very enjoyable for the more experienced cyclist who enjoy climbing. The road is rough, very rocky but very ridable. Its tough, but fun. The views from the top of the mountain are fantastic. My personal favourite ride.

Day three
More of the above with fantastic climbs, great views, lovely rocky roads, and some hike-a-bike up the steeper bits!! We can make today as tough or as easy as you prefer. Lunch at the Lodge and then we transfer by vehicle back to Knysna.

"We recommend arriving a day early for this one and tackling the famous Harkeville Red route with us the day before. One of the countries most popular single track coastal/forest routes. As mentioned in the book “Best Mountain Ride in South Africa”. 3-4 hours – 35kms
The distances on this tour are not huge but the riding is pretty intense, with lots of climbing. Suited for the more experienced bikers but the challenge is open to anyone!!!!
